Today's Photos

I just noticed that it is one year and one day since I started the 365 Project.

Overall, it's been a lot of fun, looking for something to photograph each day. I think it's made me more aware of what is around me, the tremendous beauty on God's creation and the wonderful privilege of being able to capture images at very little cost-- a big change from the old film days!

I think that I battled this tremendous inertia that crept in once I passed the 365 photo mark. It was like my brain got confused and thought the goal was to produce 365 photos rather than producing at least one photo per day for 365 days. How typical it is to become complacent and think we've done it long before we actually reach the finish line!

So here are the last two shots in this particular series. I'm going off now to try and sort through the hundreds of photos on my camera card to work out which ones I've printed and which ones I still want to print. I've also got a stack of photos I printed off late last year which need to be put into an album.

This afternoon I ordered some 8x12 prints to enter into Friday's photo exhibition.

Anyway, here are the final couple of shots for this project.

  1. You can also join the group called, "My 365" http://my.opera.com/365/blog/ and post them there. It's nice because you can look through all the ones you've posted, very well organized. It's fun too to look through everyone else's. A lot of very helpful comments going back and forth.I started mine January 1, it's hard to believe 1/3 of the year has already passed.
