It was a flat out day today, so much so that I didn't find time for a walk :( I barely got outside to take a couple of shots in the last light of the afternoon.
Well, that last light served you well for the second shot and it looks like there was plenty of light for the first one. You have such interesting birds!!
We have lots of different black and white ones, some of them hard to tell apart (such as magpies and currawongs). Peewees are cute- they are named after their distinctive call- although I think they sound more like are calling out "bird-ee" which I think makes life more convenient- I think snakes should announce their presence by saying "sssnake" :)

ReplyDeleteGood thought. I nearly stepped on a snake last Friday, but he realized I was there before I saw him and he skittered away.
