We returned from last weekend's trip to Newcastle with 10 very big plant pots for the church and some plants to put in them. The pots were from EBay, purchased from a couple who do plant hire and they worked out at about $5 each. K-Mart had 25% off all plants. We had to do a bit of a tour around all of Newcastle's K-Marts to get the plants we wanted.
So today's job was to unite plants with pots and potting mix. And what better way to do it than with help from the children :D
Margaret took one of the pictures- I thought I was smiling, but clearly the stress of the project was getting to me :)
Doesn't it feel wonderful to be outdoors and working with your hands!! And what great helpers you had!!

ReplyDeleteA good night's sleep just encouraged a different group of muscles to ache! I don't think gardening can be very good for the body :)
